Wood Law, a clearer path to a consultation.

A State Bar certified estate planning specialist in Thousand Oaks, California, with a site that buried the next step. We redesigned it so families see the firm’s specialty, its reviews and a way to book on the first screen.

The new Wood Law homepage on a laptop: the headline Estate Planning Is Our Specialty with a Google review badge and a discovery call button
The old Wood Law homepage on a laptop: a 19-word headline over a beach photo and a consultation button
The old Wood Law homepage on a phone: the long headline with no button or phone number

What wasn’t working

  • A 19-word headline that read like a credential list: “Have a State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law set up your will or trust.”
  • On phones, no button and no phone number on the first screen.
  • Booking meant scrolling down to a contact form at the bottom of the page.
  • Reviews and proof sat far below the fold.

What we changed

  • The specialty, in five words

“Estate Planning Is Our Specialty”, with the Google review rating right above it.

  • Booking built in

Online booking for a 15-minute discovery call, linked from the hero, the top bar and every service.

  • A button on every phone

The discovery call button now sits on the first screen on mobile.

  • The phone where people look

The office number moved into the top bar on desktop.

  • Services, explained

Three service cards with the detail one click away, so the page stays short.

  • A modern build

Rebuilt on the current WordPress and Elementor Pro with a lean theme the firm can edit.
